Information:-The organising committee of the second FORensic RESearch and Teaching Conference (FORREST) are delighted to invite you to join us at UCLAN in September. FORREST will showcase some of the latest developments in forensic research and the teaching of forensic science. Following closely the successful model of FORREST 2005 a combination of presentations, posters, social events, and workshops will provide delegates with an opportunity to learn and network with colleagues and some of the best practitioners. The current line-up of speakers is expected to include Dr Dick Shepherd (Home Office pathologist), Sir Louis Blom-Cooper QC, Prof Dave Barclay, Dr Lyn Fereday, Dr Sean Doyle (Forensic Explosives Laboratory), and Prof Allan Jamieson. Workshops are planned on cross examination, the autopsy, ‘crime to class’, explosions, and cold cases.
