The Forensic Institute e-Symposia bring the world’s leading figures from science and law right to your desktop. Take part in a live on-line international conference at your desk (or anywhere with access to the Internet), yet still be able to hear and question the live presenters, take part in panel discussions, meet and chat with other delegates... and then revisit the conference, download any or all of it, for up to a year later! That is e-symposium.

The fourth Human Identification (HumID) e-symposium on 'DNA Interpretation' was on-line on the 31st March 2008. The archived event is available now.

The series is organised by a Programme Board of;

• Professor David Faigman, Professor of Law at Hastings College of Law, University of California, and author of “Legal Alchemy, the use and misuse of science in the law”.
• Dr Allan Jamieson, Director of The Forensic Institute.
• Dr James Robertson, Director of Forensic Services, Australian Federal Police; Adjunct Professor at the University of Technology, Sydney..
• Mr Val-Pierre Genton of Bright-Talk

Each symposium is developed and monitored by a Review Board appointed by the Programme Board, responsible for the programme design and quality assurance.
